Workshopped is a unique incubator for Australian and New Zealand designers and plays a key role in the support and promotion of Australian product design. The annual exhibition is a platform for both new and established product, furniture and lighting designers and continues to be the first step in many designers’ process to gain recognition. To date, over 450 Australian designers have been presented through 16 exhibitions and been viewed by over 650,000 people.
Over the years, WORKSHOPPED has supported the launch of many successful designers careers including Australian design royalty such as Stokes, Adam Goodrum, Henry Wilson and internationally acclaimed fashion icon Akira Isogawa.
Now in it’s 17th consecutive year, WORKSHOPPED asks designers “Does your design demand attention and is fit for purpose?”. With a record number of 60 entries included in the exhibition, the increased demand for places marks the introduction of a student curated section and a separate exhibition for professional established designers called WORKSHOPPED Salon.
WORKSHOPPED organisers are also incredibly excited to have the iconic South Australian brand TH Brown use the exhibition as a platform to re-release their product and make a comeback to the market.
Not to be missed, the exhibition is exclusively at Supa Centa Moore Park.
Located on Gallery and Level One.
Entry to the exhibition is FREE.
