Supa Sculpted Moments; Exploring Art in everyday spaces

At Supa Centa Moore Park, we enjoy making design more accessible — and this winter, we’re inviting you to connect with creativity in a new way. As part of our free Supa Sculpted Moments exhibition, we’re hosting exclusive Meet the Maker talks with renowned Australian sculptors.

These intimate sessions offer the chance to hear directly from the artists as they walk you through the inspiration, materials, and themes behind their work. It’s a rare opportunity to learn how sculptors bring form and feeling together — all within the familiar surrounds of your favourite interiors destination. While you’re here to meet the makers,, take time to explore over 25 stunning sculptures on display throughout the centre.

Don’t miss the opportunity to hear directly from the artists:

  • 21 June: Margaret Sheridan
  • 19 July: Michael Vayman

Each session begins at 9:30am, with light refreshments provided by The Depot. It’s a chance to gain deeper insights into the artworks and the creative processes behind their work. Book here.

Margaret Sheridan – Speaking 21 June

Margaret’s work often explores the interplay between form and essence, revealing the “spaces between” through her sculptures. She allows the essence and compositional qualities of materials like stone, marble, and wood to guide her creative process, leading to a transformation that uncovers the inherent beauty within each piece

Michael Vayman – Speaking 19 July

Michael’s sculptures often explore themes of balance and movement, using materials like steel and stone to create abstract forms that invite viewers to find their own interpretations. His work challenges perceptions of weight and tension, encouraging a deeper engagement with the physicality of the pieces.
